Woven Gold spins magic for our ears

It’s been an enlightening experience listening to refugee choir Woven Gold using Dissenters Gallery as a rehearsal space.
A gathering together of people fleeing persecution from all over the world, their voices have a raw energy and power drawn from harrowing experiences and the diversity of musical cultures of countries from which they have come – Burma, Congo, Guinea, Iran, Kenya, Kurdistan. They are supported by human rights charity Helen Bamber Foundation.
