Talking local history back to life

We’re incredibly proud to have hosted the fifth of Amir Dotan’s Stoke Newington History talks at St Matthias Hall.

The place was packed and the audience enthralled by three short talks bringing to life stories of building the New River, saving the reservoirs, and seeing rare historic views from hackney Archives of our beloved Stokey and how people lived back then.
