Panto Pharoah was top of our pops

Thanks to Charles Court Opera for a hilarious staging of King Tut, their boutique panto, in its final costumed rehearsal before the festive season at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington.

They have been rehearsing downstairs in St Matthias Hall and after weeks of hearing their amazing singing, and witty reworking of soap tunes and pop songs drifting daily upstairs to our office, it was a complete relief to see the (almost) finished performance.

This is the 11^th of the increasingly famous Charles Court Opera boutique pantos which always sell-out. We’re sorry to see them go but you can still catch them at the King’s Head, just don’t leave it too long before buying your tickets…
