Mozart Requiem and Elgar cello concerto
Our resident choir Chorus of Dissent and the Elastic Band orchestra present magnificent Mozart as part of their 10th anniversary year.
Catching up on a concert they were forced to cancel in April 2020 – the magnificent and moving Mozart Requiem, plus some other famous last bars.
This concert is a series of swansongs, reflecting the whole gamut of human emotions, from fear and sadness to life-affirming joy.
Directed by Ruth Whitehead, CoD will be performing Elgar’s cello concerto, and welcome back as their soloist the delightfully talented Finn Anderson-Hendra.
